Sticks and Stones is a local, family-owned company run by Steve and Cassidy Shivas. They started out in 2013 with a vision of taking control of the projects they were involved in to ensure quality from start to finish.
Steve and Cassidy both had worked for large landscape construction companies in the past and felt that there was a huge disconnect between the design and construction phases. Sticks and Stones works hard with every project to close that gap.
Steve and Cass created a full-service landscape construction company which starts and ends with them. As the owners of the company, they oversee every aspect of your project from the first client meeting to the final touches and everything in between.
When you choose to work with Sticks and Stones, you are supporting a local family and the families of their crew, and helping us realize our dreams.

Steve Shivas is the proud owner of Sticks and Stones Outdoor Projects.
With an impressive background in landscape and construction, Steve brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. He has a diploma as a Landscape Technician and a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree with a major in Landscape Management. With many years of experience in the industry, Steve has a strong understanding of the industry and its ever-changing demands. Under his leadership, the company has grown to become a respected leader in the industry. Steve is known for his attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team. He is dedicated to providing high-quality service to all of his clients.
Cassidy Shivas
Owner/Designer/Project Manager
Cassidy Shivas is the proud owner of Sticks and Stones Outdoor Projects.
As a Certified Horticulturist with a strong background in landscape design and carpentry, Cassidy brings a unique set of skills and expertise to the company. As the lead designer, she is committed to staying at the forefront of the industry, constantly learning the newest online design techniques and sharpening her skills. She is currently studying for a certification in digital design, furthering her ability to create innovative and visually stunning designs for her clients. With her passion for the industry and her dedication to providing top-notch client communications, Cassidy has built a reputation for excellence and is highly respected in the industry.
